Who we Are
Sharon Jackson, BSN, MBA -Principal Consultant
Over my 30+ years of work in health care, I have acquired a broad range of expertise through hands-on work as a Registered Nurse, Clinical Research Associate, Pharmaceutical Sales Representative, Health System Account Manager, and Regional Market Access executive.
My diverse work experiences, combined with my personal experiences as a person of color, provide unique perspectives on ways to engage healthcare stakeholders and build collaborations that improve health outcomes and achieve sustainable results.
Why We Do It
Disparities in life expectancy among various ethnic groups in the USA are widespread and enduring.
Premature deaths have deprived my family, and countless others, of the legacy benefits gained from longevity, extended family relationships, and perspectives younger generations acquire from close relationships with elders.
Simply put, our purpose is to reduce the incidence of premature death in vulnerable populations.
What We Do
GMH Advisors work with key healthcare decision-makers and stakeholders to clarify health equity goals and develop strategies to improve health outcomes for priority populations. We support efforts to meet or exceed health equity measures established by thought leaders such as CMS, JCAH, NCQA, and the AMA.
We help organizations design and implement action plans, evaluate progress, and make adjustments needed to achieve their health equity goals.
Our target clients include health plans, healthcare providers, self-insured employers, professional associations, and influential community groups.
